Great friendship

Great friendship means a little heart that never hates,

A cute smile that never fades,

A smooth touch that never shakes
&
A strong relationship that never breaks.

Thank you for the lives touched.

Thank you for touching lives in ways you may never know.

Riches do not lie in material wealth but in having gifting people like you.

You're indeed a precious gift from God!

Good morning.

Friends and light

The true friends help us to keep the lights on and stay on the path that we have chosen.

They make it easily, just by their presence in our lives and by giving us their love.

Good morning.

Thank you Friends

“I would rather thank you time and again for being a wonderful friend in every way.

Than belittle our friendship by saying thanks only once a year on Friendship’s Day. Thank you.”

Good morning.

And what is friendship without you!

Safety of the Teens : Responsibility for All

To celebrate the 2018 Children’s Day in Nigeria, uncle Bm takes sustainable development goals lessons to children around old Ife road axis of Ibadan.

With the year’s theme “Creating Safe Spaces for Children: Our Collective Responsibility” Bemiwo emphasized the need of the young chaps to start taking responsibility for their future even from their tender ages. “You all are not too young to make a conscious decision to be agents of good and sustainable environment.” He continued “to be safe requires that you listen to your parents and do that which is expected of you.”
He assured them of the societal resolve to take good and adequate care of them through proper planning and sustainable welfare structures.
He introduced the 17 sustainable development goals to the teens and the teens displayed a rare sense of intelligence by responding properly during the interactions.

Tertiary Education in Nigeria

Education system

am a product of the system but by no means limited or held down by the system.
Education system in Nigeria needs total overhauling, what sef! All the government Ministries, Parastatals and Establishments need absolute revamping. It is safe to say, the end is nigh if we do not act. The failure of this state, if attention is not paid, is inevitable.
You may not share in my opinion because you have never been a victim (yet), I laugh in Swahili. When you feel the heat of the failure of these government establishments, your jaw will drop like you’ve just suffered from kung-fu brutality.
Education syllabus needs to be reviewed to meet global standard as well as cater for the ever unique Africa’s reality…

Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) CORPS MEMBERS DONATE TO WIDOWS, MENTALLY ILL

Corps members serving with Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko visits Daughters of Charity of St Vincent De Paul, Ile Maria, Iwaro-Oka. The charity home provides care for women with mental illness and vulnerable children.
Children with various disabilities and mentally challenged women are identified and taken off the street by the charity. Upon identification, patients are taken to the hospital for Medicare and subsequently taken to the charity home where psychological needs are met.
While presenting the gifts which include toiletries, confectionaries and other food items on behalf of the visiting AAUA corps members, Michael Adie, one of the corps members, explains that the purpose of the visit is borne out of genuine love and care to give their widows’ mite to the vulnerable at the home whom are women and girls.
The Home Manager Sr. Emerachi explained that the home provides care for mentally challenged women and female children. She pointed out that medical care and drugs administration are free for patients with Tuberculosis, HIV, Leprosy and some other medical cases. She added that the home is however challenged in getting needed drugs for mentally ill persons because the drugs are very expensive and not subsidized by government or relevant organizations.
The Sister identified AAUA students as cheerful givers who do pay regular visits to the home to donate one thing or the other. She called on well-meaning individuals around Akoko land to imbibe and continue the act of giving.

Unicorn

The world is a pile of wonders
All thronged and stuffed.
The pleasant matched unpleasants
Yet, we hope for the best.
Like the sun, we rise and pursue
And like unicorns, we will forever be imaginary

Big Dreams

Dream it Big
One thing I don’t get wearied or scared of is dream, I mean, Big Dreams. Equally, encouraging people to dream big and have illustrious vision has been, overtime a great pastime.
Having great dream is one of the prerequisites for great achievements and accomplishments.
This kind of dream is not done in bed (while sleeping) except in cases of ‘revelations and trance.’
I’m less marvelled when I read a sage who opined that “the height by great men reached and kept not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night” this, emphasize the cogency/centrality of diligence and self-denial in working out one’s Dream.
Huge dream is a kind of Dream that kicks sleep off the eye and knocks dizziness off the brain.
Write the vision, make it plain, that he may run that reads it. (Habbak. 2:2)
The ability to dream (conceive vision) in human is one of the numerous God’s given seeds sowed into human to nourish and flourish us.
God’s call on the heavenly host saying “come let us create man in our own image”(Gen.1:26) exemplifies the fact that God had already envisioned or ‘dreamt’ of the ideal image of man.
He further bestowed onto us eternal heritage, saying “ye are gods, sons of the Most” (psalm 82:6) why then did you place embargo or mental restrictions on the height you can attain?
In humans, God has deposited heritages worth more, than what the eyes has seen; DREAM.
A friend, *Adeyinka Osungbade*, once said, “God is enough connect for me”, I cannot agree less. Her assertion is right. For God’s right hand works wonder. (psalm 118:23)
If you ask some people why they refuse to make plans, why they lack dreams or vision, they will say they have no one to support or finance their endeavors. When, the Most High said He has daily catered for our needs. (Phil. 4:19)
I enjoin all to tap into God’s daily benefits and provision earmarked to furnish and nourish our dreams, call on God and phenomenal discoveries and accomplishments will fall on you.
Conclusively, a renown scholar once said “And the man dies (in all) who keep silent in the face of tyranny”
I dare say, the  man or woman dies who fail to DREAM, HOPE, WORK and PRAY
